The SpongeBob Musical takes audiences to Bikini Bottom, where SpongeBob faces a crisis – the imminent eruption of a volcano threatening his home and community. Joined by friends like Patrick and Sandy, SpongeBob embarks on a whimsical journey to save the day. When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!AUDITION INFORMATIONPlease be prepared to:Sing 16-32 bars of a song from the show, as taught at the workshop TBA.No a cappella auditions will be allowed.Be prepared to read provided selections from the script.Fill out an audition form and be honest about your conflicts. Auditions are open to all students of Northwest Guilford Middle School, Kernodle Middle School, and Northwest Guilford High School. Please select and prepare one of the audition cuts taught at the interest workshops. There will be a singing call and a dance call for each audition date.The show runs for four performances from April 10-12, 2025, at Northwest Guilford High School.Audition Dates: January 28th through 31st.REHEARSAL INFORMATIONPlease note that all after-school rehearsals and performances are planned for NWGHS. Participating students are responsible for arriving early to rehearsals and performances for which they are called, from 4:45-6:45 PM.Mandatory Technical Rehearsal Dates: March 27-April 12, 2025.PERFORMANCE INFORMATIONCast members must be available for all performances, with no exceptions.Performance Dates: April 10-12, 2025, at Northwest Guilford High School. 7pm each night, 2pm on Saturday as well.AUDITION SIGN UP: AUDITION FORMAUDITION TIME SIGN UP:

International Thespian Society
The International Thespian Society (ITS) is the Educational Theatre Association’s student honorary organization. ITS recognizes the achievements of high school and middle school theatre students. Since 1929, EdTA has inducted more than 2 million Thespians into ITS. That number continues to grow, with more than 36,000 students from around the country being inducted each year.Thespians receive the highest recognition due those who have demonstrated commitment and excellence in their school’s theatre program. ITS membership encourages them to practice their craft and to grow as a person.
